Eric Stranne has joined MadCape Racing Team to take on the 2018 GPVWC SuperLeague season. Eric brings a wealth of sim racing experience along with him, having competed in and won some of sim racing’s most notable championships. He is consistently fast and is often found battling up at the front of the field. Eric has high hopes for the 2018 season. We’re looking forward to seeing how he progresses.

Tobias Olsson also joins MadCape for the 2018 GPVWC SuperLeague season, completing the Swedish Swoop for the team. Tobias has raced in a multitude of series in the past, including the GPVWC SuperLeague. Tobias is an exceptionally dedicated and extremely consistent driver. He will be hoping to showcase his consistency throughout the season to bring home all-important points for the team. We’re eager to see the results Tobias can achieve in 2018.

Jean-Pierre Helpap

SuperLeague Reserve

Jean-Pierre Helpap has taken up the challenge of becoming MadCape’s reserve driver in the GPVWC SuperLeague. Jean-Pierre has previously raced with MadCape Racing Team in the Formula SimRacing ACE Championship in 2017. He is able to provide valuable feedback and insight, which will be increasingly important during the course of the season as the team makes continuous developments to the car. Although he is a reserve driver, Jean-Pierre definitely plays a vital role in the team.

MadCape Racing Team has been a part of the GPVWC community since 2014, where the team first competed in the International Touring Cup with Jimi Hughes and Luke Herring at the wheel. The team had a successful run in Formula Challenge during the 2015 and 2016 seasons. MadCape were runners-up in the Team and Drivers championships in 2015, and managed to secure the titles in 2016. MadCape currently competes in the GPVWC SuperLeague.
